And dude. I am so happy that you got Buddy back. That is a CRAZY story. Aren’t you just dying to know what he was doing for ALL THAT TIME??? He’s truly adorable, by the way.

The feeling you get when you think the worst is terrible. I am so happy that you found the lil guy.

When I was a kid my older sister had a cat named “cuddles”. He was the first cat we ever had, and he was an indoor and outdoor cat. One time my sis woke up at like 4 in the morning and tired to call him inside to sleep with her. (she being like 8 years old). Cuddles usually stayed out at night and “got his prowl on”.

She called for him for a while and then gave up assuming he was too far away to hear her. In the morning when we went out to wait for the bus a pile of mush was in the road. It was what remained of cuddles. Poor kitty.

To this day she cries (25 years old now) and says she killed him, he prolly got hit trying to get back to her. NEVER EVER have we had outdoor cats again. All four of my current babies stay inside.

I can just picture Buddy being pissed off at you guys for not finding him sooner. Our (first and all-time favorite) cat Harley went missing twice. One time we found him and the second time he was gone forever. Heartbreaking.
