Jo at My Own Breed of Random has gifted me this giant smiley face!

Because I make her happy!

Which is great because I DIDN’T KNOW I MADE ANYONE HAPPY!

The expectation is that I write 10 things that make me happy and nominate 10 bloggers who make me happy.

Things That Make Me Happy

movies at Alamo Drafthouse
instances in which my children are spontaneously sweet to each other
losing weight and feeling healthier
having flexibility in my work hours and location
knowing I will never ever be pregnant ever ever again (CAN I GET A WOOD KNOCK UP IN HERE?)
tidy spaces
natural light
good writing
the right music for any given occasion
Zoloft and beer (we do not all have appropriate levels of serotonin, people!)

I will go so far as to say these 10 blogs make me happy, but I stop short at implicating any actual humans who may or may not be involved. :)

Update: The Give!Away!

I may have mentioned a faint, passing interest in The Creamery‘s Minionlympics.

You may also recall that I won silver in those ‘lympics and that I committed to gifting one lucky reader a BOX OF SPLENDOR.

I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN. Oh no, dear reader. The give!away! It’s a’comin’.

I will figure something out – and then say it – by Saturday.

And lo, it will be awesome.

You know what makes me happy? Random emails from one Alicia B. Quite an awesome little mid-day break, let me tell you.

I will be checking back in on Saturday about that package. And YOURS will be coming next week, since we have THE PLAGUE OF 2010 behind us.
