Then I read her response explaining to all her followers that it was before she was observant of the whole "no meat and dairy" thing that I had totally missed as the point of her status. She has a prominent role/job at her synagogue and was two months into it. She forgave my ignorance and didn't get fired, but boy did I feel like a dumbass. Still do.
