More Music For To Dig

I don’t think music posts are all that interesting for people to read, but unfortunately for you, they’re pretty fun to write. Ever since I posted that last one, I’ve been thinking about other things I’ve been digging recently.

In an effort to rid my brain of all these worms, here ya go! Brain dump!

For right now, in this place and in this mind, these are the things I’m enjoying:

  • Beirut.
  • Bon Iver‘s album, Blood Bank, available for previewing here.
  • Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros‘ self-titled album, and especially track 6, “Home,” available for the listening here. Also, just noticed they were in town Friday. Story of my life.
  • Health‘s album, Get Color, here, from which I am positively obsessed with the second track, “Die Slow” (even if the video is dumb).
  • Starfucker’s self-titled album from 2008, here. I love the fifth track, “Rawnald Gregory Erickson the Second,” which is featured on a commercial I can’t remember right now. Maybe for Target? Also, Starfucker apparently just changed its name to Pyramid. Seriously, guys? Pyramid? You thought that was better than Starfucker?
  • Vivian GirlsEverything Goes Wrong, available for previewing here.
  • Yo La Tengo‘s new album, Popular Songs, also available for the listening here.
